  • This is a very broad question and I ask people to narrow it down. Where is your starting point, what is your budget, how much time do you have for your trip, what places have you liked or disliked in the past, etc... What is a great travel destination for one person is a nightmare for another.

  • That depends on how low your budget might be - a budget of $100 per day is going to provide a very different experience and options to someone on a $200 per day. Main thing though is with some research and flexibility, no matter what your budget might be - there is always a travel option for you.

But one of the key things is try to travel outside of peak times. I often go to New Zealand South Island in Winter and hire a van - it costs less than HALF of the normal hire rate, and you just need a few extra blankets to stay warm - many vans also have a diesel heater.

Here is a great YouTube video where Lisa and Josh travel to New Zealand South Island for 3 weeks on a budget...

  • Where are you going? If you are going to Northern Australia in the summer then all your clothing would fit into a tiny carry on bag, but if you are going to New Zealands South Island in winter then you might need the entire 20kg limit for all your extra layers.

  • One thing we always need is the abilty to charge our phones, laptops, cameras, watches, etc... And that means being able to adapt to all the various outlet configurations around the world.

  • People love to include themselves into their travel images and videos, so how can they do that? If you think you know CLICK HERE to find out if you are right.

  • For photography at only $549 (at 15 Aug 24), the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is a solid choice. It offers a versatile camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5 MP macro lens. It also includes features like optical image stabilization and a Super AMOLED display, which is great for viewing and editing photos.
